The lineage of Reiki that I was taught by Sensei Kelly Jackson follows the William Rand lineage; and from there, back through Sensei Hawayo Takata, Sensei Chujiro Hiyashi and to the founder, Sensei Mikao Usui. I received my Master level from Sensei Kelly in 2014 and it is a joy for me to channel Reiki to those who seek it, and to teach Reiki and pass on the teaching and attunements to others. Both Tending and Teaching can be done in person or long-distance.
What is Reiki?
Reiki is a laying on of hands healing system where Healers are a channel for Universal Light energy, and their purpose is to connect the Light to those who need healing through Reiki. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which can be translated "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided or universal life force energy." Reiki healers are activated by “attunements”, which is when the Sensei or teacher puts the Reiki healing symbols in their hands and their energy field, guides come in, and the channel for healing is open.
In the system I learned, there are three Degrees of Reiki
Level I – works on the Physical level for others and for self-healing
Level II - works on emotional and mental levels and adds long-distance healing
Level III – works on spiritual level, also is the master/teacher level as it teaches how to pass attunements to others
Tending sessions create the space for your systems to come back into balance and harmony. It is common for people to experience physical relaxation, emotional releasing and spiritual breakthroughs.
Teaching sessions attune you to the Reiki healing lineage by passing the powerful symbols into one's hands and energy field. These symbols are like packets of power that have the essence of Universal Source Light contained within them and can be thought of as a power cord that plugs the human lamp in to the frequency of this Light.In classes we talk about the meanings of the symbols and how to work with them. I also describe the history and future of Reiki.
