Once we remember that we are multi-dimensional beings having a moment of incarnation on the planet Earth, it shifts us into a different perspective. Concerns about who said what at the office and wondering if you made the right decision to do one thing or another lose some of the charge they were having on our emotions. This is especially true if we regularly practice journeying or meditation with the goal of reconnecting with an aspect of our true multi-dimensional self. We then Know that we are more than our bodies here in this one lifetime we are experiencing now. We can feel our light body, we can connect with other light beings anywhere in the universe, we can remember what the 99% of our true soul-self is outside this body in earthly time and space, we can remember our connection to Source, that we are in fact part of that Source.
I think this perspective is the ultimate power retrieval. We have a tendency in our modern lives to give so much power away to live in our societies. From small individual giveaways like to our alarm clocks to go to a job that may not fulfill us, but pays the rent….to having to surrender over the sovereign whole of our bodies by submitting to radioactive scanning and physical invading of our body just to board a plane. But when we are remembering who we are at a soul level, that perspective can immediately empower us.
When we use the shamanic journey to broaden our spiritual perspective, we can get a better sense of this multi-dimensionality being that we truly are. In the journey we are operating outside of ordinary time and space in a place where other multi-dimensional beings are our friends and mentors and are there to help us. We easily visit other realms, timelines, universes and dimensions. We meet power animals, ancestors, descendants, archangels, ascended masters, and all are available to us for advice and healing. When I was new to journeying I asked my teacher, “How do I know I’m not making it up?” She replied “It doesn’t matter if you are making it up. Your subconscious or imagination is guided by your Higher Self at all times, and it is giving you the information and experience that you need right now to help you on your journey. And once you start doing it regularly, you will quickly realize you are not making it up.”
She was right, and it is the same thing I tell my students today. The shamanic journey is one of the best tools in the spiritual toolbox that I can recommend. If you are at all interested, read about journeying from seasoned practitioners and teachers like Sandra Ingerman and Hank Wesselman, and find a teacher or a journey group in your area.
If we want to experience life from a place of empowerment, a shift of perspective is needed. We are so much more than we think we are. For the world to change and for humanity to evolve, we need to realize this and live it.
